Title: Unclaimed firearms; donation to Department of Forensic Science.

Description: Unclaimed firearms; donation to Department of Forensic Science. Permits localities, the Capitol Police, and the State Police to donate unclaimed firearms to the Department of Forensic Science. The bill also extends from 60 to 120 days the period for which various law-enforcement agencies must retain unclaimed firearms before destroying or donating such firearms.
