Description: Department of Criminal Justice Services; guidance documents for petitions to restore firearms rights. Requires the Department of Criminal Justice Services, in consultation with the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth and the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia, to develop guidance documents for judges on handling petitions from convicted felons to possess, transport, or carry a firearm, ammunition for a firearm, or a stun weapon.
