Title: Firearm or explosive material; carrying within Capitol Square and the surrounding area, exceptions.

Subject: Crimes and Offenses Generally: Explosives: Police State: Capitol Square: Firearms

Description: Carrying a firearm or explosive material within Capitol Square and the surrounding area; exceptions for State Police officers. Adds an exception for off-duty State Police officers and retired State Police officers to the prohibition on carrying a firearm within Capitol Square and the surrounding area, any building owned or leased by the Commonwealth or any agency thereof, or any office where employees of the Commonwealth or any agency thereof are regularly present for the purpose of performing their official duties. Carrying a firearm or explosive material within Capitol Square and the surrounding area; exceptions for State Police officers.
