Legislation Overview

Title: Concealed handguns; disqualifications for permit, adjudications of delinquency.

Description: Disqualifications for a concealed handgun permit; adjudications of delinquency. Provides that an individual is not disqualified from obtaining a concealed handgun permit on the basis of prior convictions or adjudications of delinquency if the individual's right to possess a firearm has been restored. The bill also reduces the length of time a conviction or adjudication of delinquency serves as a disqualifier for a concealed handgun permit from 16 years to 10 years.
