Title: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13, relative to the storage of firearms in motor vehicles.

Subject: Firearms and Ammunition

Description: As introduced, prohibits the storage of a firearm or firearm ammunition in a motor vehicle unless the firearm or ammunition is not plainly observable and either the owner is present in the vehicle or the firearm or ammunition is inside a locked compartment; authorizes a civil penalty of up to $500 per violation. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13.
