Title: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 38; Title 39; Title 47; Title 56 and Title 68, relative to firearm insurance.

Subject: Firearms and Ammunition

Description: As introduced, requires an individual who resides in this state and owns a firearm to maintain liability insurance in an amount of no less than $300,000 to insure the individual against losses or damages resulting from the accidental use of the individual's firearm; requires the individual to provide documentation of the insurance upon request by a party that suffers losses or damages resulting from the accidental use of the individual's firearm; specifies that a violation of the insurance requirements is a Class C misdemeanor punishable only by a fine of not more than $300. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 38; Title 39; Title 47; Title 56 and Title 68.
