Title: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39 and Title 40, relative to criminal justice.
Subject: Handgun Permits
Description: As enacted, clarifies that an applicant who has a DUI conviction that occurred within five years from the date of application or renewal is not eligible for an enhanced handgun carry permit; lowers the age for an applicant for an enhanced handgun carry permit from 21 to 18 if other eligibility requirements for issuance of the permit. - Amends TCA Title 39 and Title 40.
