Title: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 17, relative to firearms.

Subject: Firearms and Ammunition

Description: As introduced, clarifies that a law enforcement officer is not prohibited from carrying a firearm into certain locations regardless of whether the officer is on or off duty; clarifies that the exemption to the ban on weapons in parks and other similar places for a law enforcement officer applies regardless of whether the officer is on duty. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17.
