Title: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 8, Chapter 6; Title 29; Title 38; Title 39; Title 45 and Title 47, relative to merchant codes.
Subject: Credit and Debit Cards
Description: As introduced, enacts the "Second Amendment Financial Privacy Act," which prohibits a financial institution from requiring the usage of a merchant code that distinguishes a firearms retailer from a general merchandise retailer or a sporting goods retailer and from disclosing a financial record collected in violation of the prohibition. - Amends TCA Title 8, Chapter 6; Title 29; Title 38; Title 39; Title 45 and Title 47.
