Title: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13, relative to preventing the theft of firearms.

Subject: Firearms and Ammunition

Description: As introduced, creates a Class A misdemeanor of leaving a firearm unattended in a motor vehicle or boat, if the firearm is not locked within a trunk, glove box, or interior of the person's motor vehicle or boat or within a container securely affixed to the motor vehicle or boat. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13.
