Title: Concealed firearms on school premises; require local school board to adopt policy authorizing certain school employees to carry.

Description: An Act To Authorize Local School Boards To Develop A Policy To Provide For The Safety, Protection And Well-being Of Students; To Require That The School Board Submit The Policy To The State Board Of Education And The Department Of Public Safety For Approval Before Implementation; To Provide That The Policy May Authorize The Local Superintendent Of Schools To Allow Certain School Employees To Carry A Concealed Firearm On School Premises; To Prescribe The Stipulations For Such School Employees To Be Authorized To Carry The Concealed Firearm; To Amend Section 37-11-29, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; To Bring Forward Sections 45-9-101, 97-37-7 And 97-37-17, Mississippi Code Of 1972, For Purposes Of Possible Amendments; And For Related Purposes.
