Legislation Overview

Title: FIREARMS-LICENSE RENEWAL

Description: Amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act. Provides that a renewed Firearm Owner's Identification Card issued under the Act shall be valid for the person to whom it is issued for a period of 10 years from the date of expiration on the previously issued Card. Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act. Provides that a renewed license under the Act shall be valid for the person to whom it is issued for a period of 5 years from the date of expiration of the previously issued license. Effective immediately.
