Legislation Overview

Title: CRIM CD-BUMP STOCK&TRIG CRANK

Description: Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Provides that it is an unlawful use of weapons violation for a person to knowingly sell, manufacture, purchase, possess, or carry, beginning 90 days after the effective date of the amendatory Act, a bump stock or trigger crank. Establishes penalties. Defines "bump stock" and "trigger crank". Effective immediately.
