Title: Firearms; election by a postsecondary education institution to allow concealed handguns upon campus; provide

Description: A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 16-11-127.1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to carrying weapons within school safety zones, at school functions, or on a bus or other transportation furnished by a school, so as to provide for the election by a postsecondary education institution to allow concealed handguns upon campus; to require firearms safety training in order to carry handguns upon such campuses; to require storage for handguns at areas upon campus where carrying of a handgun is prohibited by law; to provide for a definition; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
