Title: Firearms; use or possession of any handgun in a park, historic site, or recreational area; provisions
Description: A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 3 of Title 12 of the O.C.G.A., relating to general provisions relative to parks, historic areas, memorials, and recreation, so as to revise provisions of law regarding the use or possession of any handgun in a park, historic site, or recreational area; to amend Chapter 11 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating offenses against public order and safety, so as to revise provisions of law regarding the carrying of firearms; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
