Description: A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 16-11-172 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to transfers or purchases of firearms subject to the NICS, information concerning persons who have been involuntarily hospitalized to be forwarded to the FBI, penalties for breach of confidentiality, and exceptions, so as to prohibit the transfer or purchase of a firearm in proximity to a mental health care facility; to provide for a definition; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
