Description: A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 2 of Title 42 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Board of Corrections and the Department of Corrections, so as to provide that employees of the Department of Corrections serving as certified peace officers may retain their weapons under certain circumstances; to authorize the Board of Corrections to promulgate rules and regulations; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
