Title: Firearms; carrying and possession by an administrator within a school safety zone or school building; provide

Description: A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 3 of Article 4 of Chapter 11 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to carrying and possession of firearms, so as to provide that the board of education of each school system in this state shall be authorized to designate one or more administrators in each school in the school system to possess and carry firearms within a school safety zone or school building, at a school function, or on school property or on a bus or other transportation furnished by the school; to provide for training; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
