Description: A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 2 of Chapter 3 of Title 38 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the organization and administration of emergency management, and to amend Code Section 38-3-51 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to emergency powers of the Governor, termination of emergency, limitations in energy emergency, and immunity, so as to prohibit certain limitations regarding the possession and carrying of firearms during a declared state of emergency; to provide for civil remedies for violations; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
