Title: Firearms Re-registration Requirement Amendment Act Of 2016

Description: As introduced, this bill establishes that registration certificates for firearms must be renewed every 4 years as long as the registrant meets all of the initial registration requirements. It establishes the process for renewal and requires the Metropolitan Police Department to mail a renewal notice to registrants at least 90 days prior to the expiration of the registration certificate.
