Howdy, everyone!

I'm originally from Canada but have been in the US (Akron, OH) since 2001. The first 14 years I was here as a legal alien immigrant, and then became a citizen just about 2 years ago now.

Literally the day I became a citizen I started excercising my second amendment right and purchased my first firearm - 'Murica! I know that technically I didn't have to wait to be a citizen, but just felt right to wait until that point!

I look forward to exchanging ideas, rants, and stories (goofy or serious) with all of you.

Pete

How hard is it to find shooting ranges where you are?

There's are a couple of indoor ranges around. I tend to go to one called The Riverside Range since it's about 10 minutes from my place. However, it just recently became a member's only club. I've been member for a while so not a big deal for me.

There are also several outdoor ranges within 30 minutes to an hour drive. I haven't been to any of these, but I plan on doing so in the not too distant future (weather permitting) so I can test out my latest purchase since the indoor range doesn't allow shotguns.
