Starting off:

H5155 is a high capacity magazine ban bill

H5156 would require a license to carry a stun gun with the exact same restrictions as a license to carry a firearm

New this week:

S0223 is a high capacity magazine ban with no grandfather clause, anyone owning them would have 120 days to get rid of them

H5437 would prohibit the alteration of imitation firearms

H5510 would make person convicted of misdemeanors involving domestic abuse prohibited persons

H5554 would make it felony to transfer a firearm to anyone the person knows or 'reasonably should know' is prohibited

New this week:

H5729 would change law regarding transportation of firearms to make out of state parties to be required to have a permit from a state that has reciprocity with Rhode Island

H5730 would require an FBI background check, with fingerprints to get a license to carry

S0374 would set up reciprocity for carry license with other states

S0399 would allow hunting with suppressors

S0403 would make 'straw purchases' illegal, which they already are under federal law

S0404 would make carrying rifles or shotguns illegal anywhere but their home, business or property they own

S0412 would make imitation firearms illegal

S0587 would require anyone applying for a carry permit to undergo an FBI background check including fingerprints

S0664 would give sheriff departments more reason to deny someone a carry permit

H6039 would make it more difficult to get a carry license and would allow the licensing authority to decide if applicants are a 'suitable person'

H6040 would set up reciprocity with as many states as possible

S0840 would repeal the requirement for licenses to carry handguns
