This thread will be updated on a regular basis when new bills come in for North Dakota.

Note: We will only post legislation we feel is negative or positive, those new bills which don't actually effect your rights will not be included but you can always find them on the state legislation page.

Starting off:

1169 is a constitutional carry bill

1233 would allow class 1 permit holders to get a class 2 permit upon successful completion of the actual shooting or certified proficiency exercise

1273 would allow carrying in churches if the church permits it

1278 would redefine a 'government building' (for the purposes of carrying a firearm into) to mean a building with has screening at the entrances

1279 is a constitutional carry bill that also makes it legal to carry into sporting events but it also makes it illegal to carry a loaded rifles or shotgun in a vehicle

1310 would allow those with class 1 carry permits to carry on school property if approved by the school board

1391 would make all firearms manufactured and kept within the state exempt from federal laws

1419 would require the game and fish department to offer firearm safety classes

2139 would require anyone carrying a firearm to show their license to law enforcement when requested
