This thread will be updated on a regular basis when new bills come in for Connecticut.

Note: We will only post legislation we feel is negative or positive, those new bills which don't actually effect your rights will not be included but you can always find them on the state legislation page.

HB05150 would limit the governor or any local government to prohibit transfer or possession of firearms during state of emergencies

HB05151 would permit gun clubs and ranges to sell ammunition for use there to anyone even if they don't have a ammunition certificate

HB05227 would prohibit municipalities from enacting firearm regulations

HB05302 would allow anyone who has a firearm permit to carry in state parks

HB05345 would require firearms to be locked up in the home when minors live there

HB05700 would increase sales taxes on guns and ammunition

HB05725 is a 'ghost gun' bill

HB05759 would require firearms to be locked up in home where anyone lives that has a psychiatric condition

SB00059 would make dementia a disqualifying factor for firearm sales and carry licenses and would allow seizure firearms

SB00060 would require anyone open carrying to show their carry license to police if asked

SB00089 would outlaw 'ghost guns'

SB00090 would require anyone open carrying to show their license to police if asked

SB00091 would require 'safe storage' of firearms in all homes

SB00092 would outlaw 3D printed firearms

SB00161 would limit handgun sales to one per month

SB00169 would establish a rebuttable presumption in a self-defense claim that when a person believes it necessary to use deadly force to repel an intruder, such belief is a reasonable belief.

SB00173 would prevent any government official from limiting firearm rights during a civil emergency

HB05797 would allow hunting with supressors

HB05870 would allow for the transfer of 'assault weapons' and high capacity magazines through a firearm dealer between two people that have certificates of possession

HB06314 would require firearms be locked up when anyone under 18 lives in the home
