This thread will be updated on a regular basis when new bills come in for Pennsylvania.

Note: We will only post legislation we feel is negative or positive, those new bills which don't actually effect your rights will not be included but you can always find them on the state legislation page.

To view proposed Pennsylvania legislation click here

Starting off:

SB27 would require a minimum 1 year sentence for carrying a firearm without a license

SB37 would remove the requirement to have a license to carry when carrying during a state of emergency

SB28 would allow PA to prohibit people who have been convicted of a crime in another state using the PA equivalent of that crime. In other words if someone is convicted or a misdemeanor 3 in another state (which is not prohibiting) but in PA it is a misdemeanor 1 (which is prohibiting) they would then be prohibited in PA

SB37 would make firearm safety locks and equipment tax exempt

SB112 would prohibit anyone on the terrorist screening list from owning a firearm

SB81 would prohibit any state or local employees of funds from being used to enforce any federal law that attempts to register, restrict or ban the ownership or purchase of a firearm, component of a firearm or ammunition
