Title: Second Amendment Preservation Act; authorize to protect rights to firearms.

Description: An Act Entitled The "second Amendment Preservation Act"; To Provide That The Mississippi Legislature Preempts The Law Of Firearms, Components, Ammunition And Firearm Supplies To The Complete Exclusion Of Any Order, Ordinance Or Regulation By Any Political Subdivision Or Municipality Of This State; To Provide That The Comprehensive Firearms Code Of The State Of Mississippi Is Interposed In Place Of Any Federal Law Confiscating Firearms Of Law-abiding Citizens; To Bring Forward Sections 45-9-51, 45-9-53 And 45-9-101, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Provide Conditions On Carrying Concealed Weapons; To Bring Forward Sections 97-37-7 And 97-37-9, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Provide Conditions And Penalties For Carrying Concealed Firearms And Deadly Weapons; And For Related Purposes.
