Michelle Elise Dejoie-Manning |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|
commemorates the life of Michelle Elise Dejoie-Manning, who died |
|
February 25, 2015, at the age of 60; and |
|
WHEREAS, Michelle Elise Dejoie-Manning was an exemplary |
|
citizen who was admired in her community for her many |
|
achievements; and |
|
WHEREAS, She was active in a number of civic, professional, |
|
and philanthropic organizations; and |
|
WHEREAS, A woman of courage, strength, and compassion, she |
|
gave generously to others, and her wisdom, warmth, and valued |
|
counsel will not be forgotten by those who were privileged to |
|
share in her life; and |
|
WHEREAS, She was devoted to her daughter, Ashleigh, and her |
|
large and loving extended family, and she leaves behind memories |
|
that will be treasured forever by her family and many friends; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|
Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|
family of Michelle Elise Dejoie-Manning; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|
Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|
memory of Michelle Elise Dejoie-Manning. |
