R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Members of the Golden Corridor Republican Women work |
|
to promote the principles of the Republican Party; and |
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 1990, the Golden Corridor Republican |
|
Women is composed of individuals from Collin, Dallas, and Denton |
|
Counties, and its members have significantly impacted local, state, |
|
and national politics by advancing their strong conservative |
|
convictions and helping Republicans win elected office; the group |
|
strives to educate voters about key issues and legislation and to |
|
encourage greater participation in the political process; and |
|
WHEREAS, The vitality of a community depends in large measure |
|
on an involved citizenry, and members of the Golden Corridor |
|
Republican Women are making a lasting difference through their |
|
commitment to political activism; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby recognize the Golden Corridor Republican Women |
|
and commend its members for their civic engagement; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the club as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
