Amend HB 2976 (house committee report) as follows:

(1) On page 1, line 19, strike "and".

(2) On page 1, between lines 19 and 20, insert the following appropriately numbered subdivision and renumber subsequent subdivisions of the subsection accordingly:

(____) prohibit the use of or possession of a firearm on the campus of a district or school, unless:

(A) the firearm is designed to be used solely for the purposes of training and is not capable of discharging live ammunition; and

(B) the firearm is used solely for the purposes of demonstration; and
