STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen

AN ACT relative to the enforcement authority of fish and game officers.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Fish and Game; Law Enforcement; Prohibition Modified. Amend RSA 206:26-b, II(c) to read as follows:

(c) Have general power to enforce [any provision of] RSA title XXI relative to motor vehicles, but shall have such power concerning the operation of snowmobiles, all terrain vehicles, and off highway recreational vehicles.

2 Powers of Fish and Game Conservation Officers. Amend RSA 206:26, XI to read as follows:

XI. To enforce the laws relating to snowmobiles, all terrain vehicles, and off highway recreational vehicles, including the enforcement of motor vehicle laws under RSA title XXI concerning the operation of such vehicles; and to enforce the laws relating to trespass on posted lands, motor vehicles blocking private ways, vandalism and malicious damage to property and livestock, use and transportation of firearms for hunting, bob houses, boats, dogs at large, breaking and entering and larceny in remote areas, protection of the environment, littering and dumping;

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
