AN ACT

To amend chapter 57, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to immunity for law enforcement officers conducting court directed service of process.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 57, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 57.095, to read as follows:

            57.095. Sheriffs or any other law enforcement officer shall have absolute immunity from any liability, civil or criminal, while conducting service of process at the direction of any court.
