1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. Laws 2008, chapter 363, article 5, section 4, subdivision 7, as amended by
1.7Laws 2009, chapter 37, article 1, section 61, is amended to read:

1.12$329,000 in 2009 is a reduction for fish and
1.13wildlife management.
1.14$46,000 in 2009 is a reduction in the
1.15appropriation for the Minnesota Shooting
1.16Sports Education Center.
1.17$52,000 in 2009 is a reduction for licensing.
1.18$123,000 in 2008 and $246,000 in 2009 are
1.19from the game and fish fund to implement
1.20fish virus surveillance, prepare infrastructure
1.21to handle possible outbreaks, and implement
1.22control procedures for highest risk waters
2.1and fish production operations. This is a
2.2onetime appropriation.
2.3Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section
2.4297A.94 , paragraph (e), $300,000 in 2009
2.5is from the second year appropriation
2.6in Laws 2007, chapter 57, article 1,
2.7section 4, subdivision 7, from the heritage
2.8enhancement account in the game and fish
2.9fund for shooting sports facilities and hunter
2.10education. Of this amount, $200,000 is to
2.11study, predesign, and design a shooting sports
2.12facility in the seven-county metropolitan
2.13area and to establish basic hunter education,
2.14firearms safety, and archery ranges on public
2.15land, and $100,000 is for a grant to the Itasca
2.16County Gun Club for shooting sports facility
2.17improvements. This is available onetime
2.18only and is available until expended.
2.19$300,000 in 2009 is appropriated from the
2.20game and fish fund for only activities that
2.21improve, enhance, or protect fish and wildlife
2.22resources. This is a onetime appropriation.
