1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 97B.328, is amended by adding a
1.6subdivision to read:
1.7    Subd. 5. Equipment seizure. Section 97A.221 applies to a violation of this section
1.8only if:
1.9(1) a person kills a deer with the aid or use of bait; or
1.10(2) a person violating this section has one or more previous violations under this
1.11section during the previous three years.
