H.F. 133 Section 1. Section 481A.123, Code 2013, is amended by adding 1 the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 6. This section does not apply to the 3 discharge of a firearm for the purpose of developing and 4 retaining the shooting proficiency of certified law enforcement 5 officers on premises owned by the state, a county, or a 6 municipality, and operated by a law enforcement agency, which 7 are not open to the general public and which were in operation 8 prior to the effective date of this Act. 9 Sec. 2.
