AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 340 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 340, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment 
4No. 2, on page 16, by replacing lines 16 and 17 with the 
5following:
6    "17;
7        "(20) a nonprofit organization that is established to 
8    detect and prevent fraudulent acts in connection with 
9    insurance; and
10        (21) an air carrier subject to the federal Airline"; 
11    and
 
12on page 78, by replacing lines 20 through 24 with the 
13following:
 
14    "(815 ILCS 505/2MMMM new)
15    Sec. 2MMMM. Violations of the Illinois Consumer Data

1    (a) Any person who violates the Illinois Consumer Data 
2Privacy Act commits an unlawful practice within the meaning of 
3this Act.
4    (b) The provisions of Section 10a do not apply to a 
5violation of this Section.".
