1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1950

2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1950, AS AMENDED,

3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment

4 No. 1, on page 2, line 9, by replacing "Section." with

5 "Section. A local health department or certified local health

6 department may establish and assess a fee for any inspection

7 it conducts at meal kit and ready-to-eat meal distribution

8 facilities if the fee for the inspection is not included in the

9 fee for the operating license or permit. Meal kit and

10 ready-to-eat meal distribution facilities shall pay inspection

11 fees within 30 days from the date of the inspection to the

12 local health department or certified local health department

13 that conducted the inspection. Meal kit and ready-to-eat meal

14 distribution facilities that do not pay inspection fees on a

15 timely basis shall be considered not in compliance with this

16 Act. Late fees may be applied to inspection fees not paid on a

17 timely basis in accordance with local ordinances or policy.".
