Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that any individual authorized by law to possess a concealed firearm shall be exempt from the provisions of the Code prohibiting possession of those firearms during bow and arrow season.

1 AN ACT concerning wildlife.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by changing
5Section 3.4b as follows:
6 (520 ILCS 5/3.4b)
7 Sec. 3.4b. Concealed firearm exemption. A current or
8retired law enforcement officer authorized by law to possess a
9concealed firearm shall be exempt from the provisions of this
10Code prohibiting possession of those firearms. Any individual
11authorized by law to possess a concealed firearm shall be
12exempt from the provisions of this Code prohibiting possession
13of those firearms during bow and arrow season. However,
14nothing in this Section authorizes the use of those firearms
15except as authorized by law.
