       Senator Brandes moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (123332) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 7179 - 7200
    5  and insert:
    6         (b) The Secretary of the Department of Corrections, or a
    7  designee of the secretary.
    8         (c) The Secretary of the Department of Juvenile Justice, or
    9  a designee of the secretary.
   10         (d) Two members appointed by the President of the Senate,
   11  one of whom must be a public defender.
   12         (e) Two members appointed by the Speaker of the House of
   13  Representatives, one of whom must be a state attorney.
   14         (f) Two members appointed by the Chief Justice of the
   15  Supreme Court, one of whom must be a circuit judge currently
   16  assigned to a felony division.
   17         (g) Six members appointed by the Governor, two of whom must
   18  be professors at a Florida College System institution or state
   19  university.

   21  Any vacancies on the task force shall be filled in the same
   22  manner as the original appointments. Appointments to the task
   23  force shall be made no later than July 15, 2019.
   24         (3) The task force shall meet throughout its duration and
   25  is encouraged to take input from all stakeholders involved in
   26  the criminal justice system. The first meeting of the task force
   27  shall occur no later than August 15, 2019. The Attorney General
   28  shall designate staff of the Department of Legal Affairs to
   29  provide support to the task force.
   30         (4) Upon the Attorney General’s request, the Department of
   31  Corrections and the Office of the State Courts Administrator
   32  may, when resources permit, provide reasonable data collection
   33  and analysis, research,
