AN ACT CONCERNING SECURITY FREEZES ON CHILDREN'S CREDIT REPORTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 36a-701a of the general statutes be amended to allow a parent or legal guardian to place a security freeze on any credit reports or files for their children.

Statement of Purpose:

To assist parents in protecting their children from credit and identity theft.
