AN ACT

 

amending title 32, chapter 10, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 32‑1151.03; relating to contractors.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 32, chapter 10, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 32-1151.03, to read:

START_STATUTE32-1151.03.  Insurance carrier audits; report

If a workers' compensation or liability insurance carrier audits a subcontractor and finds that the subcontractor is paying an individual who is not an employee on the subcontractor's payroll, the insurance carrier shall report the audit findings to the registrar and the industrial commission for further investigation.
