Nodak Arms, Surrey ND
Nodak Arms is located in Surrey, ND, about a 10 minute drive east of Minot. It is right off the highway.
They specialize in A/Rs, and as such the selection is geared primarily towards that type of rifle. About every Magpul accessory you can think of is there, as well as a soft case selection that rivals Scheel's. There is a modest selection of handguns, and always a dozen or so mil-surp/imported firearms. I get in there about once a month, and always see a few Mosins, AKs, and for some reason the Turkish handguns. (Canik, I think?)
The other big draw to Nodak Arms is the reloaded ammunition. For cheap fodder, reloaded is the way to go. Nodak also makes ammo from new brass, and stocks the most common calibers well.
I haven't had the pleasure of buying an A/R from them, but have examined some and they seem well built, with what feels/appears to be tight tolerances.
I have only seen the two staff in there, the owner and his wife, but both are knowledgeable and friendly. It has always been a good experience when I go in there.
