This thread will be updated on a regular basis when new bills come in for Oregon.

Note: We will only post legislation we feel is negative or positive, those new bills which don't actually effect your rights will not be included but you can always find them on the state legislation page.

HB2251 is an assault weapon ban bill

HB2287 would provide for firearm safety classes in schools

HB2298 would set up reciprocity with other states regarding concealed carry

HB2479 would raise fees for concealed carry licenses

HB2505 would require all firearms to be locked up when not in the owners possession if minors are present in the home

SB275 would require all firearms to be locked up when not in the possession of the owner when children are present in the home

SB322 would allow sheriffs to issue carry license to people that reside in adjoining counties

SB323 would set up reciprocity with states that accept an Oregon carry license

SB501 is a nightmare of a bill that would require permits to buy firearms, would limit firearm sales to one handgun, rifle or receiver per month, requires lost or stolen firearms to be reported within 24 hours and would outlaw large capacity magazines

SB87 would raise the minimum age to buy firearms to 21

HB3265 would outlaw magazines that hold more than 10 rounds

HB3149 would raise the age to buy firearms to 21

HB3329 would raise the minimum age to buy a firearm to 21

SB925 would allow local governments and airports to prohibit carrying in certain public buildings
