A1141 would raise the age to get a firearm purchase card from 18 to 21

A1234 would require completion of a firearms education program to get an initial firearm purchase card and a permit to buy a handgun

A1255 would allow places of worship to allow one person to carry a firearm during services

A1279 would prohibit anyone convicted of failure to report a stolen firearm from buying a handgun for 180 days after the conviction

A1280 would change the definition of destructive device to include weapons of 50 caliber or greater

A1292 would require a second form of identification when buying ammunition. It would also require dealers to maintain records of ammunition sales and report them to the state

A1318 would require background checks on transfers of rifles and shotguns with very few exceptions

A133 would authorize chiefs of part time police departments to issue firearm purchase cards and handgun purchase permits

A1411 would require firearms to be locked up in homes where anyone under 18 lives

A1417 would require anyone applying for a firearm purchase card and anyone buying ammunition or firearms to 'certify' they are not buying them to transfer to a prohibited person

A146 would make possession of hollow point legal unless used in a crime

A1492 would make it illegal to possess a binary trigger

A1569 would prohibit the state from investing in firearm manufacturers and firearm ammunition manufacturers

A1575 would create a voluntary 'do not sell firearms' list

A163 would eliminate the states one handgun a month law

A1666 would prohibit all sales of ammunition that are not handled in person through a dealer

A1802 would clarify that the burden of proof for disqualifying a person for a firearm purchase card or handgun purchase card on law enforcement

A1807 would layout 'reasonable deviations' for persons traveling with firearms

A1833 would outlaw imitation firearms that resemble real ones

A1879 would require law enforcement to notify federal immigration when an illegal alien applies for a firearm purchase card or handgun purchase card

A2143 would require firearm owners that move to the state to apply for a firearm purchase card within 30 days

A219 would create a self-defense justification for victims of domestic abuse

A2191 would require the AG to create a statewide gun buyback program

A347 would make anyone on the federal terrorist watch list a prohibited person

A390 would require schools with grades kindergarten through sixth grade to off the NRA Eddie Eagle gunsafe program

A555 would give priority to applicants for firearm purchase cards to those under the protection of a restraining order

A563 would authorize the sale of sawed off shotguns and suppressors to law enforcement, members of the armed forces and national guard

A588 would clarify that bb guns are not firearms

ACR20 is a resolution asking congress to pass universal background checks, an assault weapons ban and more

ACR59 is a resolution asking congress to pass an assault weapon and high capacity magazine ban

AJR33 is a resolution declaring June 2 of each year 'gun violence awareness day'

AR25 is a resolution asking congress to allow military personnel to carry firearms on base

AR53 is a resolution asking the president and congress to declare gun violence as a national emergency

S103 would change the definition of destructive device to include weapons of 50 caliber or greater

S459 would allow county sheriffs to issue firearm purchase cards, handgun purchase cards and accept application for carry permits

S549 would require completion of a firearms education program to get an initial firearm purchase card and a permit to buy a handgun

S557 would impose a 2.5% tax on firearm sales and a 10% tax on ammunition

A4054 would county sheriffs to issue firearms identification cards and permits to purchase handguns; authorizes county sheriffs to accept applications for permits to carry handguns.

A4062 would clarify that licensed dealers may provide firearms for display at fund raising events sponsored by certain tax exempt organizations.

A4053 is a strange but interesting bill that would allow NJ residents that have carry permits from other states to apply to the state to have their permit recognized

A4883 would require firearm transfers between immediate family members go through an FFL

A5098 would repeal the personalized handgun laws

A5030 would make firearm purchaser cards valid for 4 years and would require proof of training. It would also require an heir to get certification from the local chief law enforcement officer before taking possession of a firearm

S3182 would rewrite carry permit law only requiring training and that the person is not prohibited

S3202 would allow some residents to carry firearms using a carry permit from another state but with strict limitations.

S3105 would require family members and victims to be notified when a person's firearms are being returned after a restraining order or extreme risk protection order has expired
