An incredibly bad bill is sitting in the Senate judiciary committee right now and it can NOT be allowed to move forward. Should this bill become law just about anyone could report YOU as 'dangerous', without providing one shred of evidence by requesting a 'Lethal Violence Order of Protection'. Should the order be granted you would immediately lose your FOID card and license to carry. At that point the police would have no other choice but to come to your home and take all of your firearms and ammunition.

No this isn't a joke, or the plot of some dystopian movie, this is real and the gun hating liberals are pushing it hard, but you can help stop it.

Please take the time to contact your senator and tell them there's no way you, or they, can support this bill or allow it to come to the Senate floor for a vote.

Also remember you can send an email to your rep by clicking on the 'contact your reps' link at the top right corner of the bill but please don't just contact them by email. They are easily ignored by reps, a phone call really gets the point across!
