HB398 would repeal the 'need' clause in concealed carry issuance law HB466 is an outright joke, written by someone that doesn't have a clue how guns work ... basically targetting ammunition sales in Baltimore including record keeping and micro stamping (they don't get you need more than the ammo to do that) SB448 would stop prohibited person from owning 'antique firearms' HB534 would make medical marijuana users non-prohibited persons (even though they still would be under federal law) SB472 would make concealed carry permits good for 5 years |

This database would be available to the public. SB908 is one of the screwiest bills we have ever seen. According to the sponsor it's a partial repeal of the assault weapons ban but the way they are doing it is by striking the word 'weapon' and replacing it with the word 'pistol' (as in assault pistol) SB741 would disband the Handgun Permit Review Board, making future appeals be directed to the to the office of administrative hearings SB1036 would require anyone charged (not convicted) of certain crimes to surrender their firearms HB1145 would require carry permits be issued within 30 days or receiving the application HB1189 would make people protected by a court order eligible for a carry license HB1309 would explicitly define the right to use deadly force to protect oneself and property within their home HB1551 would require registration with the state for any replacement assault weapon purchased.
