My buddy and I went out a couple weeks ago for small game on the path out we flushed two birds that we didn't get a shot off, saw and shot a small red squirrel ( ALL Alaskan red squirrels are small.) on getting to it we found no sign of it, we found a wounded tree root where he/she was sitting , but no animal. Found and shot another one, we retreived that one found and shot a bird ( Ruffed Grouse?) couldn't find it. The one squirrel is in my freezer waiting for the results of this Sat. and Sunday

The pic is on a break during the hike back to his truck I'm the one with the longer whiskers

One is better than none, but I do hope you get more in your freezer. One red squirrel isn't going to last you long.
