Great outdoor range for Friends and family

This range is just around the corner from where I live. It's a bit of a drive to drive up the hills to get there, but once you do you're immediately surrounded by lush forest. The range is set up nicely for long-range rifle shoots, pistol, and trap shooting. I've personally only shot at the pistol lines, but everything's set up like your typical outdoor range. They have about 20+ lanes preset for distances of 7, 15, and 25 yards. (I don't remember if it goes further.) The range marshalls are definitely trained well. Sometimes they can be down right scary when they yell. It just goes to show how seriously they take safety there. Sometimes if they see a "green" shooter they'll offer some really helpful shooting tips. Cost is about $14 for the pistol range, which comes with the target. It's only 4 dollars for Youths under 18. If you bought a gun within the last year, bring your receipt. They'll let you shoot for free!!

Ammo supply is decent, but prices are set in reflection with the current supply and demand. (It's not too bad though.) Both of factory 9mm for about $20.

Overall love the place. Unfortunately there are some people petitioning to shut it down for "noise pollution." A counter petition has since been established.

If you have a few minutes please sign it.
